The new
Genealogy Writing Special Interest Group will provide a venue for members to share their experiences with writing their family history. Each meeting will be facilitated by a member of the group. Discussions will include topics common to family history writing: managing organization, developing content, adding context, and addressing common grammatical questions. There may be guest speakers invited to speak to the group. The Writing SIG will be coordinated by Tim Cox, Lisa Gorrell, and Jane Hufft.
The first meeting will be open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend the inaugural session on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the library classroom.
