New Winter Series Starts January 26, 2012: Best Genealogy Websites

Continuing a four-year tradition, the California Genealogical Society (CGS) and the Oakland California Family History Center (OCFHC) are teaming up to present a winter series of genealogy classes: Best Genealogy Websites – Tips & Tricks.

Eight weekly 90-minute sessions will give you the skills you need to navigate your way to better and more efficient search results on the best sites for family history research.

Classes will be held on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the Oakland California Family History Center, 4766 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland. The series begins on January 26, 2012 and runs through March 15, 2012. The fee is $40 for eight sessions, including course materials.
